The student, parent, and teacher dashboards share the same local learner profile and practice history. They are views of one workspace, not authenticated accounts or private areas. Anyone with access to this browser can switch roles and view information.
The local storage key k12junior-workspace saves a weekly quest goal and assignments, including their title, subject, grade, due date, completion checkbox, and a generated identifier. Keep assignment names free of sensitive information.
About this notice
This notice describes how K12Junior manages information. Practice results and profiles are kept client-side in your browser storage. You can practice without creating an account or providing personal details.
What is saved in your browser
- Your optional profile
- A first name or nickname and your selected grade.
- Completed practice
- The subject, grade, topic, number of correct answers, total questions, and completion date and time.
- How it is stored
- Browser local storage, using the keys
brightpath-profile,brightpath-history, andk12junior-workspace.
External services and connections
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and the Lucide icon library via CDN. External requests are governed by provider privacy practices.
Your choices and deleting data
- Practice without a profile. A name is not required to answer questions.
- Use a nickname. Avoid entering a full name or other identifying information.
- Reset practice history. On the learning page, open My progress and choose Reset practice history.
- Remove your profile and history. Use your browser's privacy or site-data settings to clear data for this site.
For children and grown-ups
K12Junior is intended for learning from pre-K through grade 12. A parent, guardian, or educator should help younger children choose a nickname and understand shared-device privacy. Do not enter an address, phone number, password, or other sensitive information.
